MAPLE AND VANILLA ALMONDS

Maple and Vanilla Almonds are crazy easy to make and everyone loves a handful or maybe even a bowl full because once you start you can’t stop. I have brought this to family parties and potlucks when in a rush out the door, and everyone raves about them. The best part about these Maple and Vanilla Almonds is that they are so easy to make.

These are the top of the line, and the very best Raw Almonds, but you can also find other brands at most grocery stores. Just be sure they are raw.

You can also get creative and add some other fun toppings to it. Fresh Rosemary and Thyme are my favorite, but Maple and Almond is pretty darn good too. I always keep a small container in my purse for a quick go-to snack, and they are perfect for your kid’s lunch box.

These crunchy almonds are great to add to any salad, fruit salad, on top of pancakes, sprinkled on yogurt, packed in kids lunches, or just by themselves.

Equipment

  • Parchment paper
  • Large baking sheet

Ingredients
  

  • 1 package raw unsalted almonds
  • 3/4 cup 100% Real Maple Syrup
  • 2 tsp. of Vanilla
  • Sea Salt to Taste
  • Some other toppings to try another time – Sesame seeds Cinnamon, Cayenne Pepper, Smoked Paprika, or Fresh Rosemary.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the almonds, maple syrup, vanilla, and salt.
  • Stir, so the almonds are coated.
  • Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. This will help with the cleanup process.
  • Spread the almonds onto the parchment paper and sprinkle with a bit more Sea Salt.
  • Bake for a quick 10 minutes.
  • Allow the Almonds to cool for 5 minutes. Add more Sea Salt to taste.
  • Enjoy warm or store in a sealed container for later.
