I can’t explain in words how excited I am to finally have a spot for all of my families drop and go stuff! Backpacks, sports bags, coats, shoes, hats, scarfs, etc. It is an endless amount of STUFF! This space gets the most traffic and the most use. I am so grateful for it!
Built-in Lockers
Our mudroom has custom built-in open lockers built by our trim carpenter. The lockers go from floor to ceiling. They have drawers at the bottom for shoes with brushed gold pulls. Each lockers interior has three brushed gold accent hooks. The top of the lockers have a perfect spot for baskets to hold seasonal items such as hats, scarfs, and gloves. The built-in is made from solid wood and is painted Scherwin Williams Bright White. The bench area of the built in is stained in an Ash Grayish Brown.
It’s so nice for my family to each have our own personal space to keep our things. My kids keep their activity schedules, my husband keeps his work related items, and I even like to put my shopping returns in mine. This way everything is ready to go as we are heading out the door.
Wall Calendar
Opposite the wall of the built in is an amazing x-large modern wall calendar. It is 100% personalized and came with colored chalk pens. I love the clear plastic and the modern look. It definitely keeps our family organized!

Floors and Paint
Floors in the mudroom are the engineered wood we have running throughout the house. The wall color is Sherwin Williams Snowbound. See my post called Our Home Canvas for more on those details.
Lighting
This Modern Pendant Light really brightens this space that has no windows and gives the room a Chic Industrial look. It is black with antique brass and I threaded these colors throughout all of the lights in our home.

My favorite part about our mud room is that it’s the room that shows a snap shot of the life we all live outisde of our home.
