My daughter was turning the big 1-3! HELLO …. GLAMPING THEMED BIRTHDAY PARTY!
Perfect little tee-pee tents with fairy lights cascading down them, fluffy throw pillows, and perfection to the max … this party idea seemed like a stretch!

However, thirteen is a very special birthday, she’s officially a teenager and sadly parties typically fade off into the teen years.
Options
Option 1: Rent the entire Glamping party package from a company that sends you everything you need for the party. The tents, the blow up mattresses, the blankets, pillows etc., right down to the very last detail.
Option 2: Make the investment, let my creative juices flow and piece it all together myself.
Since we are in the midst of a pandemic (darn you Covid), renting was probably not the best idea. I decided to go with option two.
THE GLAMPING DETAILS
The tee-pee tents I purchased came quickly and were easy to set up. I used the largest open spaced room in our home for the set up, which happened to be the bonus room above the garage. My daughters helped to set it all up and decorate.
The Tee-Pee Glamping Tents are so precious and have lace for the door trim closures and window trim. They are so pretty, any girl would love to have a Tee-Pee Tent in her room, playroom, or as a birthday party theme. These were also easy to put together and they come in these canvas bags for easy storage.
My daughter had to limit her guest list to only four friends because this party was more intimate and would need a limited number of friends not only due to cost but for my sanity (since it was a sleepover.) This was honestly the most difficult part because she has some great friends and did not want to exclude anyone.
We decided on a Breakfast For Dinner menu which was a fun idea to work with. I had a breakfast buffet for the girls with Orange juice, scrambled eggs, crepes, fruits, muffins, individual cereals, yogurts, granola, bacon and breakfast sausage.
Later on in the evening, after we sang Happy Birthday, we had a Treat Buffet with sparkling grape juice, cupcakes, popcorn, candy and cookies.
The party was a hit! The girls all loved it and were so excited. We chose not to do any planned party activities because the girls just wanted to hang out, and do girly things.
I did add a fun photo back drop and a Light Ring for selfies and photos.
The girls loved their individual Tee-Pee Tents and actually slept! Shocker!!!
For party favors we gave each guest a personalized tote that had fuzzy slippers, a sleep mask, a gold cup with lid, and a compact case with a mirror – these were all personalized and purchased from Etsy.
