Maple and Vanilla Almonds

These crunchy almonds are great to add to any salad, fruit salad, on top of pancakes, sprinkled on yogurt, packed in kids lunches, or just by themselves.

Equipment

  • Parchment paper
  • Large baking sheet

Ingredients
  

  • 1 package raw unsalted almonds
  • 3/4 cup 100% Real Maple Syrup
  • 2 tsp. of Vanilla
  • Sea Salt to Taste
  • Some other toppings to try another time - Sesame seeds Cinnamon, Cayenne Pepper, Smoked Paprika, or Fresh Rosemary.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the almonds, maple syrup, vanilla, and salt.
  • Stir, so the almonds are coated.
  • Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. This will help with the cleanup process.
  • Spread the almonds onto the parchment paper and sprinkle with a bit more Sea Salt.
  • Bake for a quick 10 minutes.
  • Allow the Almonds to cool for 5 minutes. Add more Sea Salt to taste.
  • Enjoy warm or store in a sealed container for later.
