Fall is upon us! Are you ready to ditch your sundresses and flip flops for cozier feels?
This years fall fashion trends are warm, stylish, and will get you back to the basics.
THE WHITE TANK
It doesn’t get any more basic than this. In fact you probably already have a few hanging in your closet. Maybe they are looking a bit dingy, so it might be time to refresh. Pair your new white tank with any pair of flare jeans and you’ve got the look … which brings us to the next hot trend.
HIGH RISE FLARE JEANS
Also being referred to as festival pants. Distressed or not, it doesn’t really matter. You want these babies high and snug on top and long and flowy at the bottom. I like to pair mine with a tight crop top. You can try this look or tuck in a tighter fit top as well.
LACE UP BOOTS
Have you noticed how great all these pieces are working together? When you wear flares, you need a boost or they’ll be dragging. This is exactly wear the lace up wedge boots come in. They give you a little height and elongate your legs. These types of boots are a tad edgy and go with so many looks. I even love them with a mini dress.
THE BOMBER
You’ll be chilly in that basic tank Maverick, so you will need to grab your Bomber jacket before walking out the door. I’m betting this trend was inspired by everyone’s favorite wing man. We all know who I’m referring to. The cool thing is bombers are coming out in so many fabrics and patterns. They are a staple for everyone’s closet this fall.
HOT COLORS
Candy Coated Hot Pink or Caramel. Hot pink was seen on the fashion runways and it’s on the streets. It’s definitely a mood booster and gets you glowing. Expect to see it everywhere! Caramel just makes sense for Fall. It’s a beautiful color for all clothing articles and screams let’s snuggle up by a cozy fire.
THE BLAZER
It was hot in the spring and it’s not going anywhere. Blazers in all styles and colors; short, long, and oversized are hip and are a great go to piece. Pair your favorite blazer over a mini dress, with distressed jeans, over some leather pants, or as a full on working girl pant suit.
LEATHER ON LEATHER
Most of us own a pair of leather, or pleather (faux leather) pants for a fun night out. Maybe you wear them once a year to that holiday party or you are waiting for the right occasion. Get ready because it’s time! So bust out that leather and own it girl friend! Here’s the fun part – leather this season is not an accessory or part of an outfit. It is the whole outfit! So yes…. I’m talking leather pants with a leather top and you don’t need to have a Harley to rock this look!
Hopefully you got some fun ideas to add into your fashion look this Fall! I love to hear all about your favorite trends and how these styles work for you. I would love for you to reach out and share with me.
